Having lived with a 2014 WRX since it was new, having gauges that are easier to see in all lighting conditions will be a selling point on my next car.

Dark red on black kind of sucks until you light the crap out of it for when the headlights are off or go dim when you turn the headlights on.

Neither works well well if…

You get used to it. Once it is committed to muscle memory you hardly notice.

My kids are too old for the booster seats now, but other than reducing car sickness, I had really strong doubts that those booster seats did a damn thing.

Maybe it moves the shoulder strap down a bit to fit across the child’s chest better but it seems that could be done with a strap.

Who talks about them?  Nothing wrong with the car as far as I can tell but hardly anyone cares.  The Kona is probably a good car.  If Ford had given this thing any other name the Mach-E would get the same treatment.

The controversial name is the reason this car is getting any attention at all.

Ford Electric Futura has a nice ring to it.
They should have gone with that.

It is called a cheater bar and made from a section of pipe.  Most mechanics have one hidden in the shop somewhere.

Scouring powder on a Philips head screwdriver can get some marginal screws out before they are totally stripped.

Spit on the screwdriver to get the powder to stick.

Maybe there is a US market for this sort of thing too.

I used to really hate FWD cars.  It turns out what I hated was an underpowered FWD car.

Good news. They are cheap right now, damn cheap if you want an automatic.

The Herb really wants to destroy everything of value he touches.

Soon it will all be slideshows and clickbait.

As an added bonus, if you drive while wearing a mask, it will be easier to contest those revenue collector automated tickets.  

We have a super obnoxious Dodge Charger Club. They do all the things that bring the hammer down on car clubs but somehow have not been squashed yet.

I bought a green Subaru “Dad Hat” from the dealer two years ago. I have worn it out, but I still wear it.
