@KeyserSöze: What about waiting until the cheap middle eastern oil is gone and we can get a better return for oil to tap anwar?

I know I could never get this past the CA smog Nazis and I still say nice price.

@Type R: Mine is a '94 with nearly the same story.

@BroncoMech: I don't think that this Belvedere was all that respectable before the current owner bought.

Well,I have owned a VW and am well acquainted with that hell.

@LoganSix: That just goes without sayin'

@jbird526: Oh come on, "reassembly is the same dis-assembly in reverse" is enough detail for anybody.

At the moment, I am torn. How do I feel about the CARB (California Air Resources Board).

@Ash78: Noise does have additive effects, it is just that the measurement is a log scale.

@luisthebeast: Well it was in Texas after all (San Antonio). And you know how they roll in Texas.

@tonyola: I love the window slats!

I love the way it is blown to hell and back, and someone tagged it with a green tag (repairable).

@boddagettaflyer: I have debated the joys of doing this. My slight change would be to drop a Caddy Northstar engine and tranny combo where the back seat used to be.

@sbcncsu: At high compression ratios you get higher combustion temperatures. High combustion temps get you the nasty NOx. The Nitrogen is in the air. There will also be some CO in the exhaust. The cats will help get the NOx down to legal levels.

I don't understand the owner of this beast. He bought an very nice car that could be very fun to drive and then barely drove it. It looks like hes spent more time waxing it than driving it.

Good move on the higher angle this time. Last time the cars were blocked by people too much.

@DohaJalop: At this point in the game if I saw any Anglia that was not an obvious super restoration I would just assume it had a huge v8 under the hood.

These days, unless you buy a live axil SUV, everybody knows that the SUV is just a minivan with truck tires and without the sliding door. They haven't been cool for a long time.

I got all excited hen I saw a V-8 swap and CA plates. That would be worth $7500. Then I found out it isn't street legal and now the car is pointless.

This makes me want to but the car in the commercial. The 1/10th scale awd overpowered little badass. Not the bloated 4cyl fwd Oxnard BMW
