I had a '74 toyota celica. I broke the timing chain and garbooned the engine. There is a '75 Celica GT on my way to work that I am tempted to offer $5k for even though it is a little rough and the lines are not as cool. I would drop $6k on a straight running 74

@Jagvar: I feel like this sterile car is the proto soul-less Toyota. Nothing about this car says fun to me. Yes RWD Yes twin cam, but some how I know it bogs off the line doesn't rally handle that great.

@CptSevere: I missed the blown engine part and voted nice price. Nice price with a good engine, crack pipe without.

@LBJ's Love Child: So then it would be almost, but not entirely, unlike a new camero

The other thing around the mid 90's these things finally started to work. Even my 94 accord still has working power windows. I remember a friend of mine with a mid 80s dodge where the power windows failed within the first year.

@eggwich: The dice are available

These pictures remind me of a conversation I had when I was in the army.

@Tanshanomi: Is it really yummy? look at this thing first it is big and heavy and it has a very primitive suspension. It would be miserable on a fun twisty road. Mopars of this vintage tended to be under cooled for the large displacement engines that were put in the cavernous bay. This makes this car miserable in

@lilwillie heart clicks GM: The thing is in California if you let the registration run out for a couple of years the price to register the car can easily exceed the cars market value.

@pleco believes in FOTA: Iwas right there with you. 40k would be a nice price for jag that some how has two V12s installed and running.

The best part is that the engine can also be the roll cage

@lankybits: I thought the "meme" this best represents is

There was this red pantera with a for sale sign on it that I kept seeing around town when I was in college. I never saw it stopped. I was on a ramen budget at the time so know it was out of my price range but I still wanted to know how much

@Ash78: I bought Gas yesterday in California, and it was 2.49 for 87 and 2.38 for diesel now if we can just get the car availability ash's dream will come true

It has style and I like the style, but it looks like one of those cars where you can't see the stop lights from the driver seat.

We have an old deuce at work for towing around big boats. I have been dying to drive the bastard.

@Captain Liverfailure: You know what I love most about the old deuce. the messed up shift pattern.

Always with the bigger!

So what do you figure he was going about five maybe ten MPH?

@Triborough: As one who lives very near Oxnard, I wouldn't object if this was done to the entire city.
