I really hate the BMW stereotype.. I only see it apply to BMW drivers that are not even into cars (usually). The enthusiast crowd I've been exposed to since owning my first BMW, nearly a year now, has all been positive.

Apart from Patrick's write up nobody said BMWCCA?

SCCA for me. They have all offered me ride-a-longs, a few let me drive their car around the track. They share all their tools and even some of their gas. But if its only a group of certain car group, Datsun owners.

I'm going to call Mini owners. We wave at each other. Heck, their marketing even says so.

Miata Owners. So many of them auto-cross their cars and work on their own cars that the owners are more than happy to help out a fellow Miata owner answer questions etc. Hopefully Kinja stops eating my image.

UPDATE: We've heard back from our contact with Lamborghini, and while they are still looking into the matter, "it's fair to say this isn't a direct employee of Lamborghini."

Does it really matter what the reviews say? I'd imagine most of those things are already spoken for, many already paid for in full. Do people who can afford Ferraris really wait for magazine reviews? I think that's just for us poors. Unless the thing turns out to be a complete turd, I doubt anything the journalists
