I hope ArcSys lobbies hard to get their games recognized as eligible for “pro” status. Players like Omito, Machabo, and Ogawa (just to name a few) shouldn’t be left out in the cold just because they play a game that is less popular internationally.

Are you referring to the auto combos? Those are so beginners and non fighting game fans can dive right into the action or concentrate on learning how to move (ie the most important part of a fighting game), but their damage output and meter gain is so low that no one outside of the very bottom ranks uses them.

Very true, but they’ll know the match-up well enough where it would take a Blanka player of incredible skill to beat them. Unfortunately, few, if any, championship level players would be willing to invest that much time into a character who has such an unsafe kit.
