Cool. Are the daddy issues included or do you have to get those on your own?

If you think about it, the Switch is the perfect platform for replicating the feel of a b-boy battle.

Holy shit, as someone who has a great appreciation for the Five Elements of Hip-Hop, Floor Kids has me VERY excited.

Does the PS4 version run at 60fps?

AHHHHH-TATATATATATATATATATATATATA intensifies. In all seriousness, I’m glad it’s not just going to be a musou.

New musical arrangements? I hope they don’t change too much. The original score is brilliant.

Still! You gotta give your nan high fives for even trying games. Mine got confused when I installed an automatic shampoo dispenser in her bathroom. In her words it was “too hi-tech”. Same could be said for the Chancellor. At least she’s giving them a go.

Kirk, this is a very well written review, however, I think the learning curve of “leaving the house” may be too much for some, resulting in a mixed bag of an experience for non-fans of the genre.

I can see it now. Yamcha will be an assist character who is completely useless until he gets murdered by the opposing team, but his death results in his remaining two teammates getting a power-up.

Koreans are better than white doods? Shocking.

Jack looked like he was going for a scrotum punch in the second slo-mo.

Good point. It certainly helps that board/card games are considerably cheaper to prototype.

Yes, this is definitely a disappointment, but hopefully it will just drive the point home that Kickstarter is NOT a place to pre-order or “invest” in games. It’s there to help fund pipe dreams. That dream could be the greatest thing since sliced bread or it could all go up in smoke like Unsung Story did. I’ve backed

Does this game actually have any chance of capturing an audience? I can’t see long time fighting game fans bothering with Fantasy Strike since we’re all focused on our game(s) of choice, and it’s not aesthetically appealing enough to pull in random casuals.

I can see where Pittman is coming from. 8-bit is played out. If you’re not Yacht Club, you’re probably not gonna sell very many games in this style. However, I still think there’s a market for high quality pixel art in the vein of Dead Cells (essentially PS1/Saturn era). Not only are the sprites really detailed, but

Now playing

Yeah, I can’t imagine playing Guilty Gear without its rockin’ soundtrack either. Hell, half the reason I play Millia is because of The Steel Lily. Ishiwatari clearly wanted to put players in the mood to fly around the screen:
