I can’t remember the last time a review had any sort of effect on me buying a game or not. Typically, if it’s a day 1 purchase, that decision was made weeks or months prior to the release date. Any title that falls into the “on the fence” category goes through a vetting process; and the people who I go to for answers

Shoe string budget. Would not be surprised to find out this movie was being made for under-1 million.

I really hope the series doesn’t short shrift Sarada and Mitsuki. As it stands, I find Boruto the least interesting character of the new trio.

Just play on Hard/Very Hard. Now lock-on becomes a non-issue since it isn’t available at all!

My setup:

I have high hopes for the Switch, but I’m still gonna wait about a year/year and half to pick one up. Being an early adopter for ANY piece of hardware (not just video game consoles, but stuff like graphics cards too) is usually a raw deal I’m not willing to take.

Pfft. I don’t have a backlog, so I’ll totally talk some shit....I got nothin’.

Is this property even possible on a shoe string budget? From what little I know of the manga/anime, JoJo’s BA looks like it would require A LOT of special effects shots.

Having a fun story is definitely a smart move to keep noncompetitive players interesting. Some people in the FGC may rail against it, but casuals are absolutely needed to keep these games alive.

So...your roommate actually knows what moose piss tastes like? I must say, he’s far more adventurous with what he consumes than I will ever be.

I have no goddamn clue who this game is for anymore.

That’s not even the most “I was still not quite prepared” moment in the game. Enjoy the rest, Kirk.

does SAC explores whatever it wants to explore through narrative or through verbal exposition?

That was a poor choice of words on my part. I own both the manga and SAC and can confirm SAC is original. When I say “adaptation of the source” I was referring more to how it compares with the 95 movie and how it explore its themes.

Have you watched Arise? Turning the Major into a teenage girl was enough to kill any interest I had in the newest adaptation, but I’d love to know I completely misjudged it and it was actually a great addition to the overall GitS experience.

Seconded on GitS: Stand Alone Complex. It’s such a great (dare I say superior?!) adaptation of the source material.

“Came for the thighs, stayed for the cries” or “Robot butts and depressive ruts” would make great box quotes.

Patricia had “Alien Dating Sim” down for ME:A. My reaction was: “That’s totally not....wait...that’s EXACTLY what it is to a lot of people.”

Man, the FEH team really knows how to wring every cent from their player base.

Personally, I would’ve preferred another date with everyone’s favorite thirsty girl, Iris.
