Can confirm. Despite some huge misgivings I have with the execution of the story, 55 hrs in and I can’t stop killing things and eating food. It certainly helps that the bros are enjoyable company.

Sadly, just adding a shader isn’t going to work. Xrd’s models are built, rigged, animated and lit a specific way so they can create the illusion of sprite art. In short, if you want this look, it has to be built from the ground up.

To reiterate what I said to Silver: context is everything. Just knowing (insert character here) is a boss and what he/she/it looks like isn’t a spoiler to me. But that’s just how I see things. If you need to stay away from Youtube to get the experience you want out of XV, you do that.

So what happens when there are no more CRTs and Gamecubes? I’m all for seeing Melee continue to flourish, but the reality is that two of the pieces of tech it runs are limited in quantity.
