It’s entirely dependent on the contracts that were signed. If there was no “morality clause”, or other justification Amazon can point to to justify torpedoing the deals, they’re boned.

They might have left that up to the upfitter. You’d really want to spec your brakes based on exactly what sort of options you were putting into the car I’d imagine as the weight differential between models might be a factor.
Dude’s wearing the tanned flesh of his mother’s face for a mask.
There’s videos all over of people doing just that to try and tow things.
This is what NDAs are for.
I think a big part of this was the fact that it was advertised on steam and available to BUY there.
They might not have anticipated the negative reception of that business decision.
It’s all actually in the court filing if you give it a read.
By certain technical definitions it’s a Town. A town’s worth of people have lost their jobs.
I think it’s more a story about how, potentially, it’s not always easy to trace and track the provenance of historic automobiles.
Potentially. The court filing lists FICA FRIO as based out of the Channel Islands at the same address as a law firm. It also states they had taken it to what is described as a prominent historic porsche dealer in the UK 12 months after the auction was held to begin arranging the sale of the car, which is where doubt…
Not in that older style. You could pick your wheelbase, which usually meant an overall length difference of 2'-3', and there were aftermarket conversions for an extended height roofline for the cargo area but nothing like you get with the euro style vans.
It’s just how things work. You always swing for the fences, not because that’s rational, or you even think you can get it, but it’s a fundamental negotiating tactic since actual litigation is expensive and if the decision does end up in the hands of a jury, they might very well be convinced to award that ludicrous…
I’d really love to know if that was considered the “best” time to release it, how bad the rest of the options were.
Looks like the cost for shipping it from the factory to your local dealership is included in the price for the package, along with airfare and hotel stay.
I think as electric drivetrains become more mainstream you’ll see aftermarket support that will make it easier to work with eventually. It’ll still require a certain skill set but right now most aftermarket modifications I’ve seen are ad-hoc builds piecing together bits from various manufacturers that requires a lot…
I wonder if that just means there’s room in the community for someone to cater to the less mainstream demographic included in said community?
Anything insanely popular is always popular to hate on. Especially anything that doesn’t have a gradual rise into popular culture but explodes the way Fortnite did.
FO76 has likely cost Bethesda way more money than whatever backlash Activision Blizzard got, mainly as FO76 is a realized bad product that has already been paid for.
