So is Gawker. Does the fact that you work for them somehow invalidate your own agency or ability to have principles?

"whenever possible we use meat from animals raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones... we source organic and local produce when practical."

Well I'm Indian, so family pressure is really playing a big role.

The extended cut didn't change anything, it just showed directly what was previously merely implied. People didn't like the ending, so they went ahead and made whatever assumptions they could to justify it as "invalid" rather than merely being poorly executed. That led to "plot holes" that weren't really plot holes

I'm in the "The ending was very poorly executed but not a big deal in light of everything else. Meanwhile, the people hating it are mostly emotionally juvenile, have awful taste, and know little and less about what makes a good story. This is evidenced by the number of them who actually think that POS 'Dark Energy'

If it was easy or practical you would see OS X ports out the wazoo. You don't because it's expensive and the results are buggy. The big advantage of PC gaming is mods and the fact that it's a great indie platform. Take that away and it's just a console with prettier graphics and more hassle to configure.

Brothers? You mean there is. . . another!?

I have downstairs neighbors so. . . no not really.

Also, squat-racks are pretty handy.

I'm not sure they would. I don't really see the upside to NFC for most businesses. The only good use for it I've seen has been file-sharing, but the P2P wifi thing fills that niche. QR Codes displaying on the screen and scanning off the camera work fine too. And apps like Bump use bluetooth and the cloud to exchange

As well as those with NFC. The only actually use I've seen for it out in the wild has been those Samsung "Tap here for a free ____" ads. Everything else it does gets done just as easily with apps like Passbook that generate QR Codes to scan off the screen.

So why don't they?

The first guy says weight matters to him more than screen size. So it's rational for him to buy a phone that favors reduced weight over larger screen. Who the hell cares what manufacturers "could" do?

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed that series. I'm not even generally an anime fan outside the Ghibli type films, but some of the "MushiShi" episodes I saw just left me with this really calm, serene feeling. It was like I had just meditated for an hour.

Especially that one with the giant snake.

That's true enough. I think you're right about the growing up around cheating/lying parents. I have one good friend who had more-or-less been emotionally abused by two of her long term boyfriends. After the second one she confessed that because her parents were so emotionally manipulative towards her and each other,

I understand that this is really tricky if you are constantly surrounded by people out of your dating pool (guys who work in IT have that problem)

You know I have a lot of friends in successful relationships, but they all met in like college or high school and their significant other is basically the only major love they've ever had in their lives. They've never really had their hearts broken, they never really had to break someone else's heart, they never had

It's not that it deviates from the original, it's how it deviates from the original. The original was an interesting and fresh story. The ways in which this one is different seem really hackneyed and cliched.

I actually kind of worry about being this guy. I never know how I feel about someone until I really get to know them. I've never been in a really serious relationship before, I've always been a bit of a loner and I don't know what I want or what works for me relationship-wise.

Most serious ones. Birth rates are projected to level off pretty much everywhere but sub-saharan Africa. We are likely to hit a population peak within a generation and we'll probably start to come back back down to current global population levels a couple of generations later. The only thing that would get in the way

Enjoy it while it lasts. XBone's matchmaking system is going to start pairing dickheads with fellow dickheads and you can all call each other niggers to your heart's content.

The rest of us will be over in the adult's room playing our games. It's a matter of time before this system becomes universal, and when it does

What exactly am I supposed to be arguing again? That cretinous behavior turns online communities into toxic cesspools and this is a bad outcome? If you need this to be fleshed out for you you're too stupid to be worth debating with. There isn't much point in casting pearls before swine.
