Not necessarily. They could just be aiming to be your second console instead of your only one. They hit a lower price point so it's more feasible. The WiiU was a step in the wrong direction for that though. It's expensive and that big honking controller takes up space.

I noticed. The evidence points to it being some sort of satirical troll and we've all just been fooled. GCK may just be the "Modest Proposal" of our generation. It's the only explanation that keeps my faith in humanity intact.

I came from a "no snack" household myself and was a portly lad nevertheless. Not having snacks around doesn't stop you from overeating during regular meals. It doesn't take substantially larger portion sizes to take you from 2,000 Cal a day to 2,500 Cal. That all adds up.

In fact, I think the fact that there were

Apparently it's more epigenetic than genetic. Being fat makes you more likely to have your cells express traits that will make you gain weight and deprioritize building muscle. You can pass this on to your kids and they will have the deck stacked against them. But it's hard to unpack how much of this is

Did you bother to actually read any of your sources first? Just based on the abstracts it looks like they're all refuting your point.

there is no difference in eating and exercise habits between thin children and fat children (or adults).

I thought they took the mobile game offline? Or do you mean ME infiltrator?

But then we're on the same issue. The problem with the sidequests is that they're boring and time-consuming. Substituting in something else that's probably even more boring, slightly less time-consuming, and only tangentially related doesn't

It becomes very difficult to get the good ending in ME3 if you skip over all the sidequests in 1. Getting a high enough rating to get a good ending from multiplayer would require you to sink in about that many hours anyway.

Many games nowadays have about 8-10 hours of worthwhile content and another 10-20 hours of mandatory nonsense to pad the length. (And then usually ANOTHER unspecified number of hours of optional nonsense padding.)

Most grand strategy games don't really need a high-end gaming PC to play. Neither do most indie titles. The two big strengths of the PC as a games platform simply don't require a dedicated machine to play, you can just play them on your light and sturdy laptop.

Gym jeans you say? Look no further:

Say WHAA!?

My MMA rashguard was $60 and Muay Thai/MMA shorts/pants can run between $40 and $80. But this is gear that's designed for having people actually pulling on them, hitting you, and actually throwing you to the ground. So it makes sense that they should be fairly pricey and I consider it "splurging" when I buy

To be fair, I suspect the reason Squeenix doesn't want to touch the Chrono Trigger IP is probably because they don't think they'll ever be able to do it any justice.

This is my problem with all the fan remakes and that 3D version they tried making a while ago. Chrono Trigger was pretty much perfect as it was. If they change anything I'd just want an HD remaster of the sprites the way Capcom did SFII. It retains the spirit of the original look while still looking good:

The burka isn't really "their" culture. Even the Koran doesn't really require it. It just tells women to dress modestly and cover their heads. The idea that modesty = COVER UP ALL THE THINGS is imported from Arab culture through the Wahabbi schools set up by Saudi oil money throughout the Muslim world.

The more

I edited my previous comment with a caveat. Being bearded is one thing, but being bearded and Indian can make air travel. . . problematic. Any time I slacked off on trimming that thing people on the street actually avoided me.

As a fellow former chubster I experimented with a beard for a short time as well. You know what I've discovered? A very close cropped beard, just enough to barely see the skin underneath, actually creates a color contrast between your neck and your chin, thereby accentuating your jawline. It looks great.

Sony makes glasses with active electronics in them for 3D TVs already. I'm pretty sure they've got this handled.

Let's be clear. I don't give a shit about your health or your body. The people I worry about are the people who are underserved by our food infrastructure and unhealthy because they've never been educated about how to maintain a balanced diet or what actual food even looks like.

People who prefer to wallow in their own
