Straight male here. I concur that square jaws are gorgeous.

I'm trying to illustrate to you the idea of money being fungible.

I said nothing about Medicare fraud or curbing spending on Medicare in general. I made comments about what kind of care we allocate limited spending to.

Money is fungible. Money is allocated in order to meet expected demand. If you're allocating money to Medicare then that money is not being allocated to a variety of other things.

Good for them? But why am I obligated to pay for it?

Yeah I would worry this attracts a certain type of person. Namely the kind that wants to serial date, but isn't attractive enough to get serial dates. The creepy, the sleazy, the ugly. . .

But the cutest one is always the barista and I don't want to bother her while she's working. . .

"A choice isn't a choice without a consequence"

It had plenty of both. People just had stupid expectations of what that means. The choices affect the story even if they don't drastically alter the plot. Stories are about what meaning you draw away from the characters' struggles. Not the fact that everyone dies at the end.

Are you kidding? The Mass Effect 3 debacle treated us to some of the most histrionic nonsense I have ever heard from people who were all bitter about the ending.

To be fair. Most of the criticism is coming from entitled wankers. The tone of the whining often sounds more like the inchoate tirades of a jilted lover than people who didn't enjoy a video-game.

"So are the designers who make bad video games and act pompous about it"

Bioware really ought to just kill their forum IMO. If they want feedback they can use an e-mail address, but the environment of vitriol a forum like that fosters just builds the negativity up.

"Everyone knows and expect that 25-35 year olds can and will have kids,"

That's why we call you Stannis the Mannis.

You're absolutely right, which is where I think all the "privilege" posts are coming from here.

Do you honestly believe that unpaid internships are unpaid because it's women doing them? That's not how it works. Companies recruit for unpaid internships because it's free labor (even if it is *technically* illegal in many places to displace paid employees with them it's not really well enforced.)

The most "far-out" claim being made here is your claim that foeticide cannot, under any circumstances, be defined as a form of murder. The fact that you can't wrap your head around how someone can interpret the former as the latter is mostly just you being obtuse. It's *not* that much of a stretch given some starting

1. a.) Except the one I was responding to didn't. Your problem is that you seem to think you're arguing against some gaggle of people rather than refuting an idea.

Changing your own oil is easy. Disposing of the oil in an environmentally safe place is kind of a pain in the ass.
