Too many games, Kirk. There are too many games.
HD Collection of the Fatal Frame games!
And yet racing games did just fine before...
Did NFS:Rivals on PS4/XBOne catch so much flak for being 30fps?
Wow, you know what? It's been so long since I played it that I actually forgot about returning the people to Crysta bit by bit. That IS very similar to SB. Welp, time to play the game again I guess.
SB is actually the only one in the trilogy I haven't finished. I did love the resurrecting the village bit-by-bit and discovering big or tiny things like a flower that will actually speak to you.
What amazes me the most is that this guy isn't just a CEO or speaker for show. He is a developer, a programmer, and you can tell he isn't bullshitting because he takes a moment to say what he needs to say. That moment is the choice to tell the truth instead of obvious scripted lies. Poor guy. He now has the job of…
That rock collapse section is actually one of the "easier" frustrating sections. Seriously, that's like the tutorial for how cheap-brutal-unfair-obtuse this gem of a game is.
I honestly didn't feel that way at all, but keep in mind I grew up with the NES, so my opinion of what makes a game "tough" is colored by endless childhood afternoons playing Faxanadu and Battletoads.
The full response is a great read, I'd highly recommend it. It's very interesting even from a non-legal perspective. It's cool to read the order of events that lead to where we are today in terms of product development. As far as the legal side, seems like an open and shut case in favor of Oculus.
I think that time will show that I'm correct.
That's...exactly what inventing is, really...
Wooden beams, spoked wheels, fabric spools and foot pedals existed long before the cotton gin, so did Eli Whitney not actually invent the machine which propelled textile industries into the modern age? Just because he put other components together that he didn't conceive from the ground up, even though it was nothing…

Well, he specifically cited not lowering the difficulty earlier as one of his regrets about the game, so...
Oversimplification. A few years back, I was talking to Hideki Konno, the longtime developer who came up with Mario Kart, and we briefly discussed his love of Diablo and some older computer RPGs. That said, I don't get the impression from Miyamoto that I do from other developers outside of Nintendo who seem to play a…
That will be my sole duty for this weekend. I will write them the most heartwarming letter and beg for it to be released.
Well, Nintendo just sold me a WiiU with their event, and I know I'm not only one. I've had the WiiU for a few days now, and have had more fun with it than I have in years with other consoles. The night I got it we had some siblings over to play Nintendo Land, and it felt like a damn Nintendo commercial. It was fun as…
