lol.
Agreed! There was one part (which I won't spoil for halfbeast) that I just had to read over again and again before moving. It just really freaked me out... Involved a complete transformation of "something".
This was my main complaint with The Phantom Hourglass. I just wanted to wrench the camera a few metres further up into the sky. I love a top down game (I really do), but I also like to feel like I'm not taking up the whole screen.
It wasn't cancelled, just not greenlit:
Looks Nier enough to how I expected it to be.
I would love to do this myself. I can think of lots of games I would write about (and used to do themed fanzines on certain games several years ago), and while I'd normally go for the leftfield games, I think I could write a proper epic on Dark Souls.
Personally, I am really pleased that Retro are making another DKCR game. It was a fantastic platformer and it was a day on purchase when their first game was re-released on 3DS. I can't wait for it and hope it is every bit as challenging as their first.
Ah, my favourite game!
I'm old fashioned, I still (foolishly) expect a reveal of a machine that plays games to feature more on the games. But we don't have games consoles anymore, just media consoles.
To be honest, if we had the choice between running zombies and free-running zombies, I'd take the free-running ones any day of the week.
Why?
Because you'd get precious extra seconds to get away from the the flesh eaters every time their obsessive compulsive nature forces them to do an unnecessary, inane flip over a…
I first played the GameCube Animal Crossing, it was pretty cool because it was my first import for the GameCube, my first excuse to use a Freeloader and it was quite different from anything I'd played before - your village isn't that big, but there was lots to find in it, fun little secrets, the NES games, the ghost…
Armored Core: for Answer filled that gap nicely for me. Not for everyone I guess, but it was quite fast paced, and after a few completions you could afford everthing and make some truly amazing mechs. In fact, I want to play it right now...
Was an interesting read though!
Bloody brilliant, I'd listen to this outside the game as well.
"7. They don't really lust after real women"
The first run of Naruto Unleashed DVDs were mis-titled "Naruto Unleased", unless it was about something completely different!
"Founded Keys: 1/3"
My brain still warms at the thought of a Star Ocean, 5, 6 or even 7!
