I watch some here and there. Not very often. But usually it is to get a perspective on what other people think of the product. I tend to do it more with electronics. Simply because it's hard to get an accurate judgment between some devices without seeing them "side by side."

OCD isn't something to joke about. The people getting mad are just super anal. There's a HUGE difference.

You know I hated Metal Gear Rising demo. But that was because I couldn't figure out how to block (was explained in the dodgy way). But the full game was one of my favourites of last year. :)

But maybe it's not just down your alley.

I've played the demo a few times, and I just can't get into it - and I love JRPGs, I still have tons of classics that I've saved up since the 80s. I just can't get into this, and I don't know why. There's just something about it that feels..."off"... maybe its just the demo itself.

So the palette is different. The shading is different. The floor is different. It doesn't observe the same stylisation (double black lines on Mario's right hand side of the pipe). The character is different. The background is different.

Look at the font of the above image. If it isn't disgusting to you, damn. I've always hated playing RPGs on my iPhone because every single one changes their beautiful font from their respective original self, to this hideous crap. :(

They really need to stop using system fonts for their iOS games. It makes their games look like some middle schooler's student project.

Yeah, the 6th gen consoles and onwards could. For the Saturn you'd need to strike the balance between the character sprite sizes and animations of Guardian Heroes, and the colour palette of Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

Yeah the closest it would look like is Castlevania but since he is fighting something bigger than himself it would look like Super Metriod.
