HAH, that's what I've been trying to do :-P*

This giraffe's like "awww sheeeEEEIIIIIIiiiiit..."

Seriously...can giraffes appreciate a nice glass of <insert name of fancy wine>?

There there, Burt...have a glass of wine! That'll TOTES stop you from crying...

OHMMMGGHHISFALSKDFFF;;;FFG Jaime Lynn-Sigler's dog is sooooooo cute you guise ahahhhhhh. Oh, also she has a baby.

HEY BURT! YOU WIN A BOBBY AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN EXCELLENCE! I KNOW YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO MY APARTMENT, SO I'LL GRACIOUSLY ACCEPT YOUR AWARD ON YOUR BEHALF...ALSO, I LOVE TAKING PICTURES OF MYSELF WITH MY CAT AND EDITING THEM IN PICASA.

Not at all! No sarcasm...I just wanted to make sure I sounded like I knew what I was talking about because I'm not a biology person. I know you weren't dissing psychology...you're dissing pop psychology. Your comments have been awesome. Glad there's a bio person on here!

WOW! So on point...I've never heard it explained so well before!

BINGO! The more we know about human behavior, the less excusable it is. For example, we know about the bystander effect, so we shouldn't excuse humanity for this age-old blunder...we should hold people even more accountable for their behavior.

So being objectified is necessary for procreation?

Hey biologist, please let me know what you think of my comment above...I'm getting my Ph.D. in developmental psych, so I might not know what I'm talking about.

Evolutionary psychology is just one lens with which to view the world. It explains the subtle differences between females and males, but it's just part of the story.

I feel like women would be much happier

Fuck. You.

Yeah, it's not like being "unhappy with her appearance" happened in a vacuum...sheesh...

I feel you...thanks for writing all that. Personal testimonies really do help people, but they are also a source of much misinformation and pseudoscience. For example, it's because of people's personal testimonies that the anti-vax movement started...it started because scientific facts are not accessible to the public

No, she's not. We are a scientifically-illiterate nation in which people would rather listen to what Oprah says than their doctor...b/c who cares what that nerd with a decade's worth of medical training has to say...Oprah like, gets me and is like so00 inspirational...also, GMOs cause cancer...so does sugar...

THANK. YOU. So tired of people discounting science...you're only hurting yourselves, people...we scientists science really hard FOR YOUR BENEFIT! Willfully ignoring science leads to your own demise.

Thanks so much for this...I'm not a Halloween person and stupid trend costumes are most of the reason for it...

But don't you think it's more likely that such politicians will listen to men than the women who have been screaming about this for decades?
