I agree with everything she said here...I don't think criticizing the tradition of fathers giving their daughters away is at all extreme...if we can't criticize traditions such as these, then how will we ever make any progress?

I think it's the smell that makes you dizzy...you walk in and there's that "Bed, Bath & Beyond" signature scent...smells kinda like potpourri and...something else?

We already have a phrase for what you just described - it's called "unrequited love." From what I can tell, "friend zone" was a term coined by and for sexually entitled men.
