Because it's not taking the input from the audio jack, that is for output. If it used that as the input, you'd just be taking the analog signal out of the iPhone, converting it to digital, and re-converting it to analog, which would be terrible. This runs off the USB port so it can do the converting itself.

can't stop watching and laughing

It's a 911S. Celebrity owner/movie car business aside, a T is worth about half what an S is. And there isn't a 911T in the universe worth $65k.

Even better would have been "sustained."

Here's a small flickr feed of my photos from this year's speed week. That's our 240SX. [flic.kr]

Saw him at the Bonneville Salt Flats for Speed Week this past week. It sounded pretty sick.

Oh my God. The grammar of this post is horrifying. I need to go vomit.

GTI?

uh, that's not a law.

Wrong.

no, theirs is just "boring"

The STS was cramped? Really? I have had a handful of 5-Series BMWs and have always been comfortable in them and they are a full 10 inches shorter than the same generation of STS. And I'm 6'6".

I actually have a lot of respect for the Escalade. As the owner of a previous-gen GMC Sierra, the Escalade fixes everything about the handling/power/performance shortcomings that I dislike about my truck. I drove it back to back with a Navigator and Caddy definitely did a better job with making driving that land yacht

And conversely, Porsche should go back to numbers. They need to trade naming strategies.

landau roof fail. did yours have the gold badging "upgrade" or could you only spring for the chrome 16" rims?

You're excused for thinking that, since every STS/Seville except the first and last generation was FWD. Torque steer, what??

Actually the President rides in a rebadged GMC TopKick.

I owned two E39 M5s, one of which was well over 100,000 miles when I sold it. I had not one, literally not a single mechanical problem with either one. Yet my brother's 2000 540i just blew a head gasket at 70k miles with a repair cost of ~$4k. YMMV.

If you're receiving legal counsel from the lawyer, then you are correct. However, this doesn't mean that all conversations with a lawyer are privileged.

You entered into a contract by making the appointment. Depending on what "terms" were agreed to in the phone call making the appointment, they might have a decent case based on promissory estoppel. Written agreements are not necessary for many types of contracts. See "Statute of Frauds."
