Casting looks perfect but the greenscreen/effects layering is SO BAD it’s distracting.

Wait so AoS went back to being canon?

Okay, the cast? Perfect. The visual style? Distinct but really not good. The stylization and layering just looks distractingly fake.

Wraps victims in duct tape! His mask is a military cold-weather mask.

He’s 35. He looks like Bruce.

Agreed. Nolan, with both Pfister and Hoytema, is practical, real, and tactile. Everything in Snyder’s movies looks artificial.

It was so funny watching The Snydercut and his slo-mo obsession actually hurt any scenes with the Flash because it was the same effect as Superspeed!

I will agree he stands out compared to the McGs of the world, but inventive or good? Nah.

That movie was so poorly shot and had the worst needle drops.

Seriously. I’ve never understood the “visual genius” thing for Snyder. Very identifiable, sure, but poor framing and depth, thanks to muddled CGI and a lack of clear lines. This though? This is truly stunning on a visual level, with on-set light providing interesting contrasts and silhouettes and the like.

Heart pounding! Veins clogging!

I haven’t really liked Schaal in the show; she’s usually great but the character isn’t great. EXCEPT for that angry rant.

Isn’t that Jonathan Groff in the 4th slide, not Bernhardt?

I’m always amused when the sculpted muscle on superhero suits look nothing like the actual physique the actors, per contract, show off.

I love the books and I’m both heartened by parts of the trailer and worried by other parts/

Hmm. Costuming is interesting; the illustrations in various books and the descriptions felt more Renaissance meets 1600s.

And there’s no reason why a lost adventure is impossible. Not like the games pick up immediately after one another.

Is Holland still doing his annoying wide eyed twerp type of acting?

It’s going to be Barry Keoghan’s character, right? First trailer made him seem evil, the Eternals have to unite to use their ultimate power, so why not have one of the ensemble turn bad?

My thoughts exactly.
