I waited 10 years for star citizen and I'm happy to see that it's crowd-funding is so successful, it's incredible. I wonder what publishers must think when they see something like that. People actually paying money in advance for a game genre publishers called dead for over a decade.

As a Linux-except-for-video-games user this makes me very happy. Windows offers nothing more than video games for me and if Linux gets more and more support I'll just drop that dead weight as soon as possible.
FPS games get really a bad rap just because there are many games that are just badly executed. I find the FPS genre to be one of the best genres (if not the best) when well executed. You won't get more immersion than through the eyes of a character. Other games that are in 3rd person make it possible to look over…
I'd go so far and say all sports are the new way of fighting wars in the first world countries.
