Yeah I was surprised how dark they went on last weeks episode. I honestly didn’t see that ending coming and thought it might turn into a two episode case.

I think they scour the internet for mentions of Chick fil A and show up in the comments to cry about the IntOLerAnt LeFt
Yeah I went from them being something neat I’d buy if I were bored and wanted something different to being kind of annoyed at the trend. I don’t think they should cease production of them, but their burst of popularity has seen a downtrend in other beers I enjoy more.
It’s not illegal, but it’s certainly *news* in the sense that getting the story out and widespread could completely collapse FAM. She’s not out to beat the system now that she realizes it’s impossible, she’s out for blood.
I love the way he steps up and half-whispers it while leaning, perfectly earnest. Absolutely perfect.
Pretty close for me between Aimee and Kate but Kate edges it out with that strong-as-hell top 3. Big agree on giving up alcohol before I gave up coffee.
Yeah, definitely in agreement. I was super excited when I heard he was going to be doing a movie and that excitement has slowly gone to shit (especially since his proposed Doctor Doom movie is gone with the wind, thanks Disney). Hawley is obviously a talented guy, hopefully he gets another shot and does a better job.
I definitely was expecting the camera to pan up to Zeljko Ivanek’s face. I’m not sure I would have strictly preferred him, though, I think Kevin J O’Connor is fantastic for the role. I might even lean toward O’Connor as the better casting decision.
People are generally more likely to chime in with negative opinions on a (somewhat) negative review. In this case the second part receiving a worse review gives some agency to those who didn’t enjoy the first part. I was pretty pleasantly surprised by the child actors (I usually find them more miss than hit) but the…
I loved the scene in the little preview they did and thought it was very effective until Pennywise actually jumped out as some awful looking CGI monstrosity. I was in love with how they updated them flipping through photo albums and just got disappointed. It generally fell into my big problem with the movie being its…
It’s a complete mess and I still kinda love it, a good amount of the horror was well executed too in my opinion. It just doesn’t hold up to any actual scrutiny when it comes to the writing.
It’s somewhat reminiscent of Japanese and Korean horror in that way, they’re a lot more fatalistic with their curses (see: The Grudge, Pulse, etc.). I really enjoyed it when it first came out but I haven’t watched it since.
Are you here to imply that the first movie was scary? Every scare was on the same beat, they were all telegraphed from miles away, and the (frankly dreadful) CGI took away any chance of decent horror being found anywhere in the film. It’s like they didn’t trust themselves as cinematographers despite having some very…
I honestly hate the voice that he uses in the role, sounds more like Scooby Doo than anything I’d be afraid of even when he tries to swap to menacing.
Well everybody is leaving the show, for the moment. There isn’t a planned Season 3, Waller-Bridge only said she might be willing to return to the character and story later in life.
Shiner Bock is one of my go-to’s if I’m supermarket beer shopping, and would probably be purchased more often if most of my nearby supermarkets didn’t carry Bell’s Amber Ale
I completely agree. I’m generally very understanding of adaptations and the liberties they need to take with the stories. Perfect page-to-screen adaptations are almost never a good idea. I just strongly disagree with the gross majority of the changes they’ve made in the show. I’m pretty disappointed.
It’s also a line directly from the book.
As absolutely atrocious as this movie was, it made my friends and me cackle uncontrollably for a good 10 minutes during one particular part. I’d say it’s worth it if you’ve got a good group of friends to MST3K it with.
You might wanna just casually bow out of this conversation before you make yourself sound even more out of touch.
