Oh I get your point entirely, it’s just immensely stupid.

Because people that choose to not eat meat for ethical or health reasons might still very much enjoy the taste of meat. Food items like this make switching a little bit more palatable. It really shouldn’t be a difficult concept to grasp.
There was a festival review by a different reviewer, this is the official full review for the movie’s release. This is a common practice on this site.
I haven’t read this series, but it’s somewhat amusing to me that the first book (cure for all diseases turns people into vampires) came out only a month after the first book in the Feed series by Mira Grant (cure for all diseases causes zombies).
Yeah I was always aware of him in the periphery of my consciousness because I knew he’d written the screenplay for Beetlejuice and I loved that movie as a kid. I was also reminded of him as I became more openly gay while somewhat of a bookworm with an affinity for horror and genre fiction. I’m honestly kind of ashamed…
I went through the audiobook of Blackwater this year as well (audible is how I survive my dull ass job) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was kinda surprised to see it come up in the comment section, I’ve enjoyed pretty much all of the McDowell I’ve read and listened to. Matt Godfrey’s performance was truly fantastic.
There’s a Deli near my job that serves a sandwich somewhat similar to this, they call it a Factory. Turkey, swiss, bacon, slaw, and russian dressing.
Missing: an ostrich egg.
I agree, but it still wasn’t as jarring as seeing Sam Elliott without one on Justified.
I’m pretty sad he did wind up leaving, I think he would have made a better film (I frankly didn’t care for the adaptation). Still, this article and his statement reads really strangely. Hopefully he isn’t some maniac who’s impossible to work with because I really love his work.
I’m perhaps a bit late (having just gotten into the show this week somehow, but I’m loving it), but it was cool to see Ahmal actually interacting with his partner even if for a short moment. Was wondering when we’d get to see a little bit more of him living his life ever since they introduced him.
So did you just skim over the whole Victor Salva thing?
Bryan Tyree Henry also gives some of the best side-eye I’ve ever seen.
The opening three songs of Janelle Monae’s The Archandroid.
Suffer like G did?
Why, though? It showed that she tried to go about things one way and then felt forced to go another route.
“Carl was, if anything, even more than of an untouchable than (poor, doomed) Glenn...” The “than” after “even more” is probably left over from when you were phrasing that sentence differently.
Why BS? I personally thought it was bad and I was really looking forward to enjoying it. I was personally really surprised by the almost universal praise the movie got.
It must come as a real shock to the star of a show about a Trans parent that the show has a “politicized atmosphere.” Who could have seen that coming?
I think cryptid furry would be more appropriate.
