Guilty as charged. I’m usually better at reading the rest of the thread before posting - but like, you gotta admit, this is some Poe’s Law seriousness, here.

It blows my mind anyone is like “Let’s spend money on armed security in our schools!” When teachers are paying out of pocket for school supplies, some schools went without heat in the middle of the winter this year, and plenty of schools are attempting to get by with sub-par and out dated text books.

I mean like, this is easily undermined by the fact that tons of other developed nations - with plenty of guns per capita, but not completely terrified of ever enacting gun control legislation - don’t have schools with armed fucking security/teachers/etc. walking around and have somehow still managed to avoid school…
