From what I found out about my (cheap) TV: it does have optical out, but it is only for use with the built in decoder, so it won't redirect surround audio from other sources. Though I can't remember if I ever actually tried it, so I guess it's worth a shot!

Oh yeah, I have a question about the Logitech Z-5500 that I have. I recently bought a Wii U, and the only "surround" I can get is from using the "Dolby Movie" effect to simulate surround sound with stereo signal sent via the TV. Because I can't connect the Wii U directly to the Z-5500, and the TV doesn't support

I'm glad I bought the Logitech Z-5500 back when it was on sale a few years ago! But I don't know about voting for it since I haven't tried any of the other options in the poll, or even other surround systems at all.

My favorite wallpaper is still a dual screen wallpaper I got quite a few years back (I edited it a bit to make it fit my resolution):

My family's strategy for beating the stress of gift giving has for many years been to stop giving (material) gifts and doing so much Christmas preparations. Instead they try to use the time they save on gift shopping and Christmas preparations on actually spending more time with friends and family. (My parents are

Yeah, I can confirm that in my main browser window where I'm logged in to MS, I get the flights search alternative at http://www.bing.com/travel, but in a private browser window where I'm not logged, the same URL just takes me to the front search page.

Thanks, Mifune and barrosd10! I'll try to give it a shot once I get the chance. :)

What is this fail proof no-knead method and can someone make a LifeHacker (or hackerspace) article about these easy methods to make bread? :)

I guess rather than asking for the wrapping paper back, you could encourage people to use the wrapping paper they get for wrapping new gifts. Especially for gifts they buy for you!

I think my favorite Kirby games were Dream Land 2 & 3, because of the helpers/allies and how they change how each power worked! And some of the secrets required you to experiment with different combinations of helpers and powers in order to reach them, which was quite fun.

Now playing

Yeah, even though the games are vastly different, I must admit that was one of the first thing that came to mind too!

Oh, that's a shame... Still, the pocket watch might just convince me to buy this Collector's Edition!

Wait, Tearaway is released?? I completely missed it. Ah, the release date was the same as the new Zelda game, that must have completely overshadowed it. Apparently it's very cheap too, so I guess I might just buy it!

That video is not available for my country. The show is also not available on Crunchyroll for my coun... oh wait, it is available now! Most excellent! Been seeing this show in various news posts so much that I'm curious about it, even though I have no idea what it is about. (I tried to avoid reading said posts to

For storing bed sheets: I like to fold and stack my bed sheet sets normally then insert the stack into one of the pillow cases and wrap the pillowcase around itself for storage in the closet. Voila, a nice bundle containing one sheet set which stacks easily with other sheet bundles or towels and won't let the

Does eating manflesh evolve this creature into the one in the second (or first) picture in this article?

Just because it has long limbs and is climbing a wall doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad person! For all we know it just likes taking a stroll in the neighborhood, climbing a few walls and generally chilling out.

Yeah I am a little unsure whether to buy the 3DS version or Vita version. One on hand I do really like the 3D effect on the 3DS, but on the other hand my Vita doesn't have too many games. Oh well, the game has got mixed reviews anyways, not sure if I'll buy it now anyways with all the other "must buys" coming out
