Usually in discussions about 3D in movies and games, there are always some people who say that they get a headache from the 3D effect. Which makes me curious, what could be the reason for this? I have a 3D monitor with nVidia 3D Vision and I'm pretty sure I have played a game for hours without getting tired from the

I'm guessing this is related to people's ability to imagine and think in 3D space, which I heard is also the reason why some people have a harder time doing parallel parking than others. :P

I completely forgot that the new stock keyboard had swipe functionality, thanks for the reminder! Been using Kii Keyboard for a while now which have worked quite well too in any case.

I recently found this article on Wired about the game, which states that the game might not be as good as one'd hope because it just takes the two main characters of each game and put them into a new world with entirely new characters. Plus they don't even really interact with each other all that much throughout maybe

Cool, thanks for the tip! I had a look through two pages of Zac Gorman's comics, they seem awesome so far. :) Link: http://magicalgametime.com/

I actually started watching Netflix (or Crunchyroll or YouTube) videos while cooking. Obviously it works better if it's a video with more talking than action so it'll be fine if you just listen and don't have to keep your eyes on the video all the time. Radio or podcasts would've worked even better I guess. Same when

I agree with this. Even running at 1280x800 on my 1920x1200 screen, games looked better with better textures and details, than running them at full resolution but setting textures and everything else to minimum. Which could in the worst case make games look like this:

I thought the peel was the part which actually contains most of the nutrients!

I learned that onion chopping technique from Cooking Mama! True story.

I like how LifeHacker enhanced the steak photo from the source article so that it looks even more succulent!

I think I read somewhere that even if the bacteria/mold itself is killed, if it created any toxins already, those toxins will still be, uh, toxic. So warming/cooking moldy food won't help.

"The Amazon Appstore for Android is not yet available in your region." (Norway) Curses!

I have been wondering why nobody has tried using YouTube's 3D support to show trailers of 3DS games. Or movie trailers for all the 3D movies coming out. I guess movie companies might not like YouTube or other movie sharing sites much, but surely gaming companies shouldn't have a problem with free distribution of

I finished Prey just a few days ago, haha! (Bought it on sale, actually for 0$ + shipping if I recall right.) :P

I tend to play Nintendo DS games several hours after going to bed.

@diasdiem: Skimming the title really quick had me only picking up the words "Dead Body ... Technique ... Transport"

Oh, I didn't know the muting works that way. Since I'm too used to just holding the volume down button to turn off sound. I almost never used the screen rotation lock function so I don't really mind it being moved.

Ah, this one works quite well for making a visual list of video games I want to buy/play. And sync with my iPad! :)

This app is exactly what I've been looking for.
