You should cross-post this on Jalopnik. Gary Meyer’s class on perspective was a requirement for anyone interested in Transportation Design at Art Center, one of the premier car design schools in the world. He probably taught many of the world-class designers out in the industry today.

The new xbox sure does have an interesting design

The Chimera Squad, then, is a group tasked with upholding this “delicate interspecies alliance.”

It uses powerful electro-magnets to hurl aircraft into the sky.

Likely story. Jason - and all of Jalopnik - has been in the pocket of Big Otter Jizz for years now.

Just a heads up: If you get shitty or mean in these comments I’ll remove them. Go be an asshole somewhere else.

i am really hoping that that is a typo.

I wouldn’t reminisce about an old teacher sending me a pile of floppy dicks.

Based on the description I’m guessing Skyrim.

Fair enough, Still, I’m not sure I want to spend that kind of money to play one game. Also I don’t really have the space for it, truth be told.

You know my PC is good enough to handle the game but I’m not really in a position where I can spend 500-1000 bucks on a VR headset. I’d reckon most people aren’t either. Plus the economy isn’t exactly on the upswing right now. So despite really wanting to play Half-Life Alyx I’m gonna have to pass simply because it’s

Articles like this highlight why I stick to single player games, almost exclusively.  Even if 90% of the people playing actually play the game correctly, that remaining 10% can sap the fun out of the entire experience.  Couple that with the toxic language and blaring music that I hear when I play online shooters, and

Fuck everyone involved in this story. Fucking morons.

I spend $5.00 a day at Starbucks. I’ve done the math - I know what I could be saving if I didn’t spend that on coffee. I also know that it’s very likely that instead of pocketing the difference I would be spending it on something else that I enjoy less, and so i’ll continue to happily spend on my habit.

Just play The Outer Worlds, it’s better anyway.

I keep wanting to like mobile games, but I think I just don’t. Even the very best ones feel like pleasant distractions instead of something I want to go out of my way to spend time doing.

Hey

I worked at a startup company that recently got a ton of funding from a PE firm. None of the current/former investors gave them more money, which is a very bad sign. I hope they make it because their product is good, but I figure they’re going to end up getting bought at a fire sale.

The practice of private equity law is the most profitable practice there is. Except maybe defending an oil company after a major oil spill or doing the fine print for a petro state’s oil business IPO.
