Lane splitting is actually pretty safe and is a good way for motorcyclists to travel...it should be done in a safe and prudent manner when legal to do so....not like this.

I'm from Cali where lane splitting is very common. Every time I ever saw lane splitting, they were doing it responsibly, slowly, and cautiously. I don't ride, but I support lane splitting. Not when done like this, though. This guy is an idiot.
Lane splitting at a traffic light or heavy slow traffic is great for me, the four wheeled aficionado who doesn't ride the two wheeled conveyances.
