Has Scott Pruitt taken over Earther?

I have 5 streaming services, each with only 1 or 2 shows I care to watch. And those come out once every 18-24 months with 8 episodes that I binge in two days... and then they just sit there, soaking up $5... $9... $12 per month. I am not feeling any love from the streamers either.

The joke is on them! Everyone know that th American cockroach lacks the magic healing ingredient! Stay away from those scam-cures and only use *MY* cockroach juice, made from 100% *asian* cockroaches.

Vinyl records are absolutely NOT lossless copies. Every step of the physical manufacturing process imparts loss of information because each step cannot perfectly reproduce the shape of the groove. As the article says, the father pressing molds wear out with each record they stamp, so in fact the last record produced

Stupid job-killing regulations!

There is already a non-profit testing an equally effective treatment that costs $500. Too bad Gilead only made like $30Billion on their treatment.

Was I the only on e who noticed that in the movie Pandora looked jungle-scary to the humans but when seen from the aliens POV it was more bright and beautiful? I fear Cameron made that too subtle for much of th audience to notice.

I feel that we have reached a level of technology where they could make reasonably real, functional mecha (look at Boston Dynamics Atlas: the software is ready!). It would just cost maybe 1,000x what these puppetry suits cost.

This is far Far FAR from theworst thing that Huckabee has ever said.

You don’t think that English is a language imposed on non-white peoples by colonial governments? Those 50% of Americans... did their ancestors speak english or was their original language something else?

They will probably also whitewash it by not producing it in it’s original language. Shame.

I’m on Abbadon’s Gate right now which starts with a scene in Baltimore. I understand that we get more of a view on that with Amos later, but the picture shown in AG was more urban-noir than apocalyptic to me.

In fact, in The Expanse it is not quite clear that Earth is in any way a bad place. A lot of the negatives come from the Martian PoV characters who have a chip on their shoulders and mostly go to an “Earthers are lazy” trope.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic, but Hollywood *did* make a quite succesful movie about the grunt work of space exploration featuring 3 women doing math, and it was very interesting and engaging.

Every *trillionth* of a second? Like, every picosecond (1/1000 of a nanosecond)? That sounds a bit beyond current technology, unless it is being done optically. Light only travels a fraction of a millimeter in a picosecond.

Was looking for someone to make this connection! Have a Star!

Why is it that the only impetus writers and directors can imagine for exploring space is the collapse of Earth as a habitable planet? Am I the only one who thinks that if we have the technology to colonize/terraform/evolve humans to live on any other rock in this solar system, it would probably mean that we have the

Sorry I made you bother to type this in for me. I googled it and saw that plus more pedestrian internet bad behavior. Seems like typical nast fan stuff, but Rick-worship probably brings out more of it.

Meh. I googled it. Nothing unexpected. Fans who fancy themselves to be Rick-like not getting that Rick is not someone to emulate. Internet douchebaggery.

Other than the McDonald’s szechuan sauce thing, what has the Rick & Morty fanbase done that is problematic?
