I believe this contract is the shops way of saying “we do not want to work on this car because it is a basket case and/or you are giving signs of being the type of customer who is going to be a quagmire of complaints that will cost us more money than this is worth, so here is a ridiculous contract that should scare

Exactly. I am very seriously considering getting one, but as a *third* car. Got a DD with roof and cargo space. Got a mainstream 2 seat sports car. Considering selling 2 motorcycles (probably raising $12K total and making garage space) to fund a slingshot as sort of an alternative motorcycle.

Lotus Elise SC and Ford Taurus SHO. Because I like weird things in weird combinations.

Their motto: “Anything else is something else” sounds like it came from a comedy sketch about ridiculous marketing.

I don’t understand all the PT Cruiser hate. No, it’s not my cup of tea, but I don’t think it was horrible. It was a little bit over styled, but it managed to also be decently practical. It was also one of the first attempts at making a low-end car that wasn’t a generic box, and it sold well. This was at least a

Not a car, but a buddy rode his motorcycle from Myrtle Beach to Columbia MD through Washington DC traffic with a broken throttle cable tied to his knee so he could control the throttle by cocking his leg out. It was amazing...ly dangerous :-)

If cc’s were cubic inches, yes. :-)

In a pinch you can use the spinal fluid of your victims.

Maybe to keep the front end from sinking too far into the sand? I remember seeing Paris-Dakar footage where the bikes had to keep their speed up or sink past their hubs.

I have heard that the Chevy Nova sold well in Spanish speaking countries, and the whole “No Va” story is an urban legend.

How much did Big Pharma pay you to post those lies :-) :-) :-)

They don’t. I believe the video is latching onto a minor limitation on liability (for older, proven vaccines) and conflating it with blanket immunity. They also claim vaccines are exempt from clinical cal trials, which is false.

What show was that? I’m a little out of touch on current TV.
