Parts for the Land Rover are abundant - you'd be lucky to find so much as a windshield for that Nissan; evertyhing would have to be custom order. Obscure land-of-the-rising-sun wheeler for the (hellish) win.

Make a CC Sportswagon and I'm sold.

@VonPinto: The CJ (1945ish) wasn't terribly different from the last of the TJs (2007?). At the very least there was a long run going there. Very similar chassis, very similar suspension setup (leaf springs until '95).

What about the Jeep Wrangler??

I hate to parrot everyone else's sentiments, but Polly wants a Citroen.

Great idea, awesome car. Definitely crackpipe price. Also huge risk of grenading the transmission with all that torque. Look how long it took Tesla to get their transmission issues figured out.

My dragon doesn't generally go for the Frenchies, but I showed this to him and it has piqued his interest...

I will haz the gas plz.

I don't really see any "threads going on here".

More info on the Trabbi, please.

George Orwell told you so.

@Dive-Bar-Drunk: You beat me to it. Although I'd have called it the Challengeamino.

All events and people mentioned in the following post are purely fictional... ;-)

I guess the mandatory "That'll buff right out comment" isn't so funny given that it probably will.

I had it off on my E36 M3 one rainy night for a little bit of tail-out fun. My fun got a little too tail-out and now there's no more E36 M3. I keep DSC on at all times in the E46 M3 I upgraded to with the insurance money, unless I'm in a "launch from stoplight to stoplight" kind of mood. The M3 is too much car for me

Porsche Panamera.

Only car I've lost: my beloved '98 E36 M3.

I was going to say "That'll buff right out" until I looked closer and noticed that it was meant to look like that...
