Because cops are absolutely fucking useless in being proactive in domestic situations like this.  It’s not specific to this situation.

Sadly, that’s completely normal. Most women who get killed by an ex typically have this histories of complaining to cops, being stalked, etc and cops like “well not done anything too bad yet” until finally they die.

Its a large reason of why so many crimes against women go unreported.  Rapes, abuse, etc.  Or why…

I will never understand how someone with a child could think murdering the other parent would be anything but the worst kind of trauma for that kid. Especially knowing you are likely going to be caught making your kid effectively an orphan.
