I can understand people not liking the bugs etc ... but I can’t understand the notion that the game fundamentally has some massive flaw to it. Flawed compared to what? What other open world game has this level of production and writing and content? Maybe it doesn’t have the depth of something like Fallout New Vegas

Xenogears remains one of my seminal gaming experiences and still one of the best stories I’ve experienced in gaming. I only played Saga 1 & 2 but enjoyed them without really feeling super invested.

I just played through the Story So Far, after having played 1 and 2 back on the PS2, it took about 20 hours on average for each full game give or take a bit.

Seems a little like 1984 if you ask me. I understand wanting to get people to write more directly because we’re living in an era full of superfluous BS. So yeah, get to the damn point. But I feel like attacking specific words misses the point. This article and the idea behind it both feel reactionary to me. 

The problem with all this DLC for me, by the time I beat the SP game I just wanted it to end, and whenever a party member left I really didn’t care where they went or what they did because the main story felt so incoherent and mishandled. I really wish they would stop piling resources into this game.
