Wait you cannot enter the store without a membership card? No one said anything to me when I went inside the Costco store in Kawasaki, Japan and isle-shopped looking for interesting items.

Dunno, the character models look stiff.
Speaking of which, it never ceases to amuse me what バイキング stands for.
Wow, how unrealistic!? The invincible cyborgs weren't that impressive the second time around. And those players; they didn't even go through a montage to get better :P
Actually this is really helpful for my 比較社会文化特論: Reading Culture in Advertisements class. Thanks to Kotaku, I have gathered 4 great resources for my final report without much effort :)
My favorite part of the trailer XD
I think you would have gotten the answer if you copy and pasted the word into your favorite search engine. I think that would have been way easier than writing a comment, no? :)

I preferred Pepsi back home but Pepsi in Japan sucks (at least the Kanto area) so I almost always get a Coke when I feel the need for a cola. I don't drink soft drink that much anymore as tea has replaced them for me. Coca Cola's Soukenbicha is the best thing ever.
I guess it has become part of the culture and in a way a vicious circle. People carry or keep guns so they can deal with robbers who might be carrying guns.
Sometimes it's necessary like when living in areas where bears come knocking at your door. Exceptions had to be made, thus.
If you can make anything comprehendible come out of that, especially this bit:
It seems the new high-end cards won't arrive until 2015. Might as well make them DX12-compatible, I guess. Nothing confirmed yet, though.
Ah, the Kei cars or as some like to call them "sewing machines on wheels". I once rented one to go to the Shiratani Unsuikyo in Yakushima and the thing could barely produce enough power over the mountainous roads to reach over 40km/h. Luckily that was the speed limit on most roads.
You'd be surprised how many ladies on OKCupid in Japan clearly states they're looking for friends only. This makes me wonder "why not join Meetup if you're looking for friends only?"
The rebranding thing is not new. I can remember them redoing it as far back as 2009 when the 8800GT/GTX cards were rebranded as 9800GT/GTX and then when the the 9800GTX+ was rebranded as the GTS250 (but on a smaller die).
