As far as I know (or I think I know) the DVR function in Xbox One is always recording, and it's got a 5-minute buffer. So you'll always be able to retrieve your last 5 minutes of gameplay, regardless of wether you're close to getting an achievement or not.

Really? For me it's the other way around. I watched both (Sony and Mirosoft's) E3 Keynotes, and while none of the consoles really had an impact on me, I found Xbox One's exclusive titles more appealing, from Titanfall and Forza 5 to Dead Rising 3, or Crimson Dragon.

My bad, I was just expecting people reading a gaming site like Kotaku woud get the reference. I was wrong, clearly. I'm gonna leave this here, just in case, so everyone gets the locker comment:

Microsoft didn't need to drop their sharing program because their competitors have shown you don't need it to do what they wanted to do.

After reading this article I'm worried too. I preordered an Xbox One and every single time Microsoft goes and announces a new change, or that some service is not going to be available at launch (and there are plenty of missing launch services, at least here) my right bottom eyelid starts twitching..
