Sorry, forgot the "/sarcasm" at the end. haha
He's trying to point out that loadouts won't be nearly as easy to come by. Regardless of whether or not you save, you're still going against a room of thugs with fresh health bars while you have whatever ammo you've got. It's not like Bioshock where you can run in, work down the health of a tough enemy until you die,…
Wow. This article totally reminded me of how I stopped trying to convert people to Macs years ago by telling them about features. The trackpad is like one of Apple's great "secret" features. I was able to get rid of most of my reliance on Hot Corners because of multitouch gestures.
Weird; tap to click is almost essential for me. On the other hand, though, I do hate the "double tap and hold to drag" function. I double click on things way too quickly for that sometimes.
Huh. I actually learned something on Kotaku today. =P
Humphrey Bogart beat Mario to the punch by decades. NEXT!
Making a sequel to TWEWY would be like making a sequel to Bioshock. Yeah, it might be fun compared to other things in the industry, but it's an unnecessary addition to a self-contained experience. And feels like it.
I worked as a game tester for a while and you would be absolutely shocked how many games were pushed out of the gate in a merely passable state in the name of the "day one patch." When I say "passable," I mean they didn't have any bugs left that would full-on crash the game or mess with its core functionality, but…
It has to be a tie between Driver:SF and Sonic Generations. Neither will win GOTY, but Driver surprised the hell out of me with how fun it was. It's perfect for short bursts or long play sessions.
Agreed.
The Big Bang Theory meets THE SOCIAL NETWORK!!!
I've always described Minecraft as a good fit for someone who loves Legos and Zelda. This is a perfect product.
I agree. It makes playing Bejeweled downright magical! :D
Wow, Mr. Hyde. Where's your list?
Uh... This song is "The Mark Has Been Made," which was on the NIN album "The Fragile," which came out in 1999. Despite the insane level of respect and reverence I have for Trent Reznor and his talents, I'm still surprised that your suggestion that he hasn't grown at all in 16 years was as offensive to me as it was.
I can't believe he won the Oscar for the TSN soundtrack but didn't even get nominated for this one. Awesome, awesome soundtrack.
Oh, come on. The Ark of the Covenant I can believe, but aliens? Pfff.
As much of a bait-and-switch as it was, I didn't even get this annoyed with the writers of Lost. At least they gave us an ending.
Every time I see that box art it feels like seeing the picture of an old girlfriend whom I loved, cherished, and got along fantastically with until the day she just stopped calling forever. No explanation, no hints, just an eternal lack of closure.
