For me it's absolutely mandatory unless it's a title or a franchise I know (Diablo) or that I had previous experience with (certain Ubisoft titles). That and I have a bit of an OCD regarding my Steam Library

Pretty accurate. Here in the Czech Republic you can get some pretty good beer for something around $1.10 if you know where to go.
