it is not good for older cars. Learn about timing and knock. timing on older cars is not variable. It will damage the engine. High compression engines require higher octane to decrease knock and improve efficiency. just make the pumps 87\93\98, calibrate pumps to make 93 out of 98 and 87. Problem solved.

well, most stations are setup with 87 tanks and 91 or 93 tanks. If you want 89, the pump just mixes the two. Throwing 98 in the mix just means the pumps need to be recalibrated. maybe 87/93/98 going forward
