I don't know that I agree that the apology was unnecessary. I'm a huge RBG fan, but as an attorney, I was super uncomfortable with her comments (even though I'm in total agreement) and didn't think they were appropriate for a sitting Justice. Not to mention, what if, God forbid, we end up with a Gore v. Bush situation…
