Pleeeeese more articles mocking Pinterest, I love to hate-read Pinterest. Love it!

I've had students use those websites as resources in essays about Islam. Of course these are students who already believe the nonsense on the fake sites, and it is impossible to prove to them that the sites are fake - they just think I'm some crazy conspiracy theorist.

A parent who gives zero shits, is my guess. Poor kid.

I think it's really important to know how the pet will react - for example, we know (from experiences with our cat needing surgery) that he has a really low tolerance to this specific sedative and will only need a tiny bit.

Oh God. I try to be understanding of people who have their little kids on planes, but if you say they will be on your lap, they should be on. YOUR. lap.

Good luck and safe travels!

It depends on the cat's history, health, and the length of travel time. (I used to be a blogger for the local Humane Society, and when I wrote an article about traveling with pets, I interviewed a couple of vets in town on this subject. I am not a vet, so obviously I defer to anyone else's superior knowledge on the

Once a six year old boy was seated between my mother and I. I offered to switch seats with his mom so they could sit together, but she declined (?!) The kid had nothing to do and ended up falling asleep with his head on my shoulder. For like three hours. I do not get it, people - you made them, you have to entertain

If you're really concerned, your vet might be able to prescribe a sedative. Puts kitty into dreamland, he's not stressed, others aren't annoyed, and you can rest easier.

In FLDS communities, it does cause serious problems. There are hundreds of teenage boys that are pushed out of their communities because they would be competitors for wives. These kids often end up homeless.

I am a private tutor and work with a couple homeschooled students. The other day one of them (a 17 year old) went on a long rant about Muslims which included the gem, "you know they instituted Sharia law in Michigan, right?"

I'm a quilter, and I love to make baby quilts. They're my go-to for shower gifts, and I work hard to figure out designs and colors that will align with the parents' style - I'll try to find out the colors of the nursery, I tend to use or design more modern patterns, etc.

We had a florist at the local grocery store (a regular grocery store, not a fancy one) do our bouquets and whatnot. Best decision ever. They were super cheap, gorgeous, and the bouquets were huge.

I was married in 2009 and definitely heard a lot about colors and had them for our wedding (chocolate brown and baby blue). I would think maybe it's more of a regional thing except I took most of my advice from The Knot.

Good luck to you too!! Thank goodness for internet solidarity!

August 15th! I'm trying not to either be too excited or worry too much.

Strength! I'm newly pregnant too, and the magical Week 12 isn't until the end of January for me. Which is a bummer. I get it. I did confide in my close friend who is pregnant, because I needed emotional support. But I really wish I could tell my family on Christmas.

Ok, never mind, I googled it...

We're a small-bulb, multi-colored light family, and if you deviate from that perfection you are clearly Incorrect.

I starred you and then took it off for big bulbs. No big bulbs! Boo!
