You need a lady who can convince you that she IS a force of nature and should be worshiped as a goddess. Ms. Berry just doesn't have the gravitas to pull it off. In the right roles she's OK, but such terrible casting for Storm.

While I've moved from disappointed to dismayed to disgusted with every Halle Berry outing as Storm, I have matured enough since the first X-Men movie to allow that the horrific screen version may not have been entirely her fault.
