@BringerofthePain: I understand relying on our system to work and generally agree that we don't know the facts a jury does, but in this case, in far too many rape cases, the system has proven time and again that it doesn't work. I just don't know how we can ignore a history of rape cases, of faulty rape law, and of

But Mo Glo, how many articles have you written about the football players who didn't rape people? What about the billions upon billions of men who are falsely accused of rape? Next time please be sure to cover one instance of male/player oppression or accomplishment for every mention of rape. It's only fair.

@BringerofthePain: "the wealth and power of the men in question and our historical mistreatment of victims who step forward merits close consideration."

@chubmaniac: Yes, because we have no reason in this country or culture to believe that rape cases wouldn't be taken seriously or prosecuted fairly.

@chubmaniac: Yes, because we have no reason in this country or culture to believe that rape cases wouldn't be taken seriously or prosecuted fairly.

I never understood the term to refer to sexism that is good, but rather sexism that masks itself as good. Too often sexism in men (and the women who also ascribe to these beliefs) is excused because their intentions are "good." There needs to be a way to articulate that saying something like "women are just more

@One Calamitous Angel: I wanted to love Wonder Woman, but like you, I just can't get behind her or Superman. They are so boring.

@resplendent.bitch: Obviously, after your fit doesn't work, you give the employee a hot bj while making meaningful eye contact.

Why is she talking like she's giving a monologue for the High School Thespians Club?

My Tea-Partying mother is going to be horrified that the immigrants are stealing her emotionally manipulative and abusive parenting style.

I agree that it is not something to be jumped into lightly but I honestly cannot imagine marrying someone you haven't lived with. It's far better to have a bad year and an awkward move-out than a bad marriage and an expensive divorce.

I don't get it. I was in the wedding of my beloved cousin and the hated man she married (who, after hearing which size bridesmaid dress I was ordering, told me I needed a larger size). You just stand there and pass bouquets when prompted. It's not like you have to give a speech about what a great guy he is or sign

@lurkerbynature: Exactly. I really loved the first book, as it has many of may favorite things: religion, vampires, a gunslinger. But after a while I was exhausted by how "shocking" everything was. I get it. You're dark. Fucking dead fish and serial killers and botched suicides. Got anything else?

@SgtPepper: I really like Bendis so I will definitely take a look at it! I'm super behind on my comics.

@TheUnicornQueen: I KNOW. But it just so happened that all those little seeds I planted in 2010 sprouted yesterday and today.

@SgtPepper: No, I read 1-17 or 18. I gave up. It may be good now, in which case I could be persuaded because I'm desperate to love her.

@Tulills: But that's the hardest one to do! Keep up the good work!

@caffeinequeen: There's that guy who dies by fucking himself to death, and then T.C. is always raping animals or talking about raping animals. There's just a TON of sexual/sexualized violence and while I don't think a woman actually gets raped, the whole thing started to wear on me and bring up my own assault issues.

2010 FUCKING sucked. I failed at everything and cried a million times.

@kickdrumxheart: Yeah. It's just discouraging. For the most part I love comics and I love my comic book store, but sometimes I walk in to a giant Nerd Core calendar and some cover with a heroine screaming in horror in a shredded costume and I think, Do you even WANT my money?
