To be honest I haven't played borderlands at all, just bought the bundle during amazon sale. What I know is from reading from other comments. But the slaughter dome is also adding gameplay content. I have the three dlc's on my wishlist, but I guess I will buy them sooner than later!

if you have the season pass, then all the main expansion dlc's are included and the vault hunter pack. You will only need to the the psycho and mechromancer pack as they are not included in the season pass.
