I made a comment about this earlier, but -- I’m surprised that no one else is bothered by the whole breaking of the fourth wall. I’ve never been able to watch shows that have too much of that, and in this, she’s winking at the camera constantly, which takes me right out of the story every time.

I agree. Tbh I’d be much more interested in a show about a woman who’s, you know, real. Not necessarily someone awful that hates everything about herself.

I don’t think Fleabag is horrible. She’s not an easy character -- she’s grieving and angry and acerbic -- but I found her bothr relatable and likeable. She’s just a person, really, one that be awful and great in the same day.
