I'm not sure what you're referring to about crying for mods to be hired - I haven't seen any of those posts myself.
Your earlier comment is ridiculous - you can't compare this to a bar for alcoholics, because these articles are about completely unrelated things (some of the gifs posted today were about a female…
I disagree with you on that. 1) authors have a responsibility to monitor their comments section. Commenters use comments to ask questions/call authors out for oversights or factual errors, and that can be really helpful. As well, as employees, I believe they all have to do some work moderating the comment section…
You're right, I misused the word. I mean "gifs OF rape (and/or rape porn)." Comment still stands, because I believe the OP misunderstood the title.
I get that there are tons of problems with the US system (and I agree on that point), but I think you're being a little high and mighty, given that we have the same FPTP system that would also make us a "false democracy." I like harping on the US as much as any Canadian, but in this case glass houses, stones, you know…

The crazy thing is, it's not even just in articles about hot-button topics. Today he posted in DirtBag and in the article about a female baseball player. There's no knowing where he'll post.
Um..if you think that's an acceptable response, please do not move to Canada.

These kids can look up Mark's articles for god's sake. The cat is out of the fucking bag.
" If you're planning on trying to justify that behavior in the comments, do everyone around you a favor and instead just go ahead and set yourself on fire."
I'M SO EXCITED...I'm so scared.

Maybe comments like this are why Jezebel blocked your other account?
I had several baby dolls when I was growing up, and the boy baby was the only anatomically correct one. It was a young baby, so face-wise he was pretty androgynous. When people asked if it was a boy or a girl I would show his penis as proof.
Um...no. Some kids are just like that. Parents can't (and shouldn't) control all the random thoughts that come into kids' heads.
