That's a totally fair point. I don't really have a problem with Beyonce or the particular situation as reported in the link, to be honest, more the way that Jez always fawns over her as if she's a goddess that can do no wrong. That might just be me misinterpreting things though.
That's a totally fair point - I'm not at all commenting on the reputability of this article. Perhaps the Jez writer realised this was far-fetched and that's why it wasn't criticized, I just take issue with the general glorification of all Beyonce does. I don't love or hate her, I just feel that she sometimes gets a…
I'm not referring to the particular story - I'm not spreading any rumours whatsoever (as I never once said she was a bad person or anything), but if it was true, it would be terrible. Rather, I take issue with what I feel is a blind admiration for Beyonce on this site.
That's fair - I may have misinterpreted. I still feel in general, though, that on this site Beyonce is allowed to get away with things a lot of other celebs would be proverbially hanged for.
Is anyone else kind of sick of the unconditional love Jezebel has for Beyonce? She terrifies people at Bergdorf's because she routinely gets them fired? That is a downright bitch move. But noooo, Beyonce, the "Queen" or whatever. Bleh.
I cannot like this enough. There is a shocking, staggering amount of photos of emaciated children from developing countries (read: black children), released everyday to emotionally manipulate us into supporting a cause. Does anyone think these children are asked about consent? Worse even, these photographers set up…
Aaaah, there goes all the work I have to do.
That is absolutely outrageous. All of the groomsmen should split the costs of the other two suits to subsidize those not covered by that deal. And you got the official invite three weeks before the wedding? Are you JOKING? That is ridiculous.
This excludes all the private schools that are co-ed. Did the study control for mixed-gender schools? And what about religious vs. non-religious private schools? So many questions!
Does anyone else just feel terrible for the professors? Obviously there are profs out there that would love to teach such bs classes, but there are also those who genuinely love teaching and want to inspire their students. Especially with the current state of academia, many profs don't exactly have job mobility; they…
Ok, that kind of makes sense. See, I'm a grad student with 0.00001 ounces of shame, so I have no problem day-drinking whatever the hell I want. Maybe once I develop stronger shame receptors I'll move over to the bubbly camp?
I remember seeing it, but never having it. And now thanks to you, I want it!
If this goes the way I'm thinking it will, I will buy some prosecco to toast your victory. Also because it will make me feel fancy.
That is totally fair. You legitimately drink it often, and that's your thing.
....just kidding, I'm having a moment.
Is it because he said a few French words in what I can only assume was a American-French accent? Because me thinks she's using that word wrong.
Yeah, okay, morning buzz is good, but caesars and sangria are equally good breakfast drinks in my book. Or just wake up at noon and drink whatever the hell you want. But really, how often do you (or does the average person drink champagne)? This is not "my favourite celebratory drink," this is a fight to the death.…
Champagne is beating red wine, THE BLOOD OF THE GODS?! I thought I knew you people...
