@mike_311: Apparently we have their answer — they don't care.

The non-gallery layout is so much better. Thanks for providing the link!

@brianary: AppBrain comments are okay save for two complaints about it using 3MB of system memory. (ave 4 stars)

@janhajk: I'd love to know if more LHers get it to work over 3G. I'm afraid to update Skype unless I'm sure. The old version would only work over 3G. Verizon wanted the wireless handicapped so they could prevent domestic Skype to landline/mobile calls. (moto droid, froyo)

@KamWrex: I do this and probably save about 2 min when putting away a dishwasher full of utensils and lose less than a second when getting utensils out. Not a huge time saver, but it adds up. I do keep a separate "sharps" drawer for the reason you point out.

@bdgbill: Nice feedback on Vignette. Yours and the other comments here have me sold.

Gmail just knocked off the #1 complaint on their feedback forum.

I've used this system for years, but I've found it has a flaw. Because I tend to grab my socks from the top of the pile, a subset of socks get worn out more quickly than the others. For this to be effective, you'd need to use a pass code you could quickly remember under pressure without help. And that could lead to some fun with ...

I can't count how many gift cards have expired on me, leaving me feeling lousy for not getting to them in time, and hating the person who gave them to me for making me feel that way with their stupid present.

A sure way to fail at one goal is to make five others at the same time.

@lh.20.confuscious: Ditto. I strained my back and spent a year using a makeshift standing desk because sitting for 8 hours would kill my back. I've since resumed using my sitting desk most days, but I still like the energetic feeling a standing desk gives me.

Some people are indeed running late because they are rude and selfish — or better said, they are exerting their power through making others wait. But that is only one type of habitually late person. In Never Be Late Again [www.amazon.com] Diana DeLonzor describes seven types of people who are chronically late. (And

@zaxour: My redundancy alarms buzzes whenever I see statements like "We fed the horses, pigs, etc..., and went inside." An ellipsis is a poor substitute for "etc." and a lousy addition to it.
