So Xbox employees are like Xbox LIVE users.....what else is new?

I'm not a legal expert, but what grounds do these companies have in these suits? I mean, they let it lapse, so is it basically "we're a big company and we want what we think we deserve"?
Maybe after this he can do a kickstarter to buy back the rights to Tomba from whoever has them and make Tomba 3. I'd support that.
Except the didn't "source" some copies, they intentionally horded new copies and removed the wrappers so as to violate the MSRP rules set by Nintendo. This sets a very bad precedent.
This is definitely impressive and I respect anyone who dedicates this much time to being good at something. That said, I don't get the idea of watching competitive gaming as a spectator sport. Watching people play StarCraft is akin to watching paint dry.
The discounts were mostly good, my problem was the lack of variety. The same games were on sale over and over. While I agree it was better than gog.com, who literally recycled the same deals every three day, there still could have been more variety.
Hey there are some real jewels on the Indie Games section. Miner Dig Deep is a classic, and CaveIn is also really a load of fun. Blocks That Matter is good if you don't have it on Steam, and there's a fairly well made platformer called Supercow Adventure (no really that's what it's called). There's also a really cool…
And don't forget Pac Man World. That game was epic. And that Mrs Pac Man Maze Madness game on Dreamcast was terrific.
I think Helix deserves a mention here. She has absolutely nothing to do with either the article or Dokken, but mentioning Helix is really never out of place. Another great band from that era that no one remembers.
Yeah like any of those kind of people would wake up at 6AM. 6PM maybe.
I'm not fully awake yet and read that title as "Colostrum". I thought "It's a game about breastfeeding.......in space?" I guess that would be kind of a novel game though.
I wonder if a Steam version could happen. I'd be up for that too. This was my favorite SC game, in fact it's probably my favorite fighting game period outside Fighter's Megamix.
Ok so I sold off my collection of gaming stuff years ago (I had every PSX RPG, black label, complete, most all PS2 RPGs, etc, although I kept my complete SNES RPG collection and other SNES stuff). I swore I'd never get into collecting that sort of stuff again. But damned if that Zelda book set isn't tempting. I'm a…
Wait, I thought his, and his defenders', argument was that he said "j/k" (as if that makes it better). I don't see that anywhere here. Isn't that the cornerstone of his defense? I still think this is overblown, make the little brat do some community service and be done with it. Jail time is excessive. But I'm finding…
I know Age of Empires 2 has been cheaper but this really is one of the best RTS title ever, and I think a lot of younger players missed it. The game should be experienced by all.
I also hope we see a new Blake Stone soon.
I'm really psyched for this. It's neat to see lesser known titles getting the remake treatment. There's going to be a wicked looking remake of the Realms of Arkania games too (Blade of Destiny hits soon as I recall). As to this dev kit, I love how much effort they're putting into this.
Dr Kubler-Ross would be proud. Ad I totally think she'd have played on Expert.
Great article. This is my favorite type of story to read, these tales of nostalgia. I actually played this after SMB but still enjoyed it. It was the first two player competitive game I'd ever played and I still love it. Nintendo really just did some amazing things back then.
