I made the assumption that the diesel truck drivetrain was ~3000lbs. 35k empty truck - 3k diesel drivetrain = 32k lbs. Add 18k lbs for the battery = 50k lbs.

Gadot literally didn’t bother saying “Palestine” or “Palestinians” in her message.

Nobody is expecting her to say “death to Israel” and nobody said she’s accountable for the actions of the Israeli government. It’s not antisemitic to condemn violence perpetrated by the Israeli government.

The comparison was made not to suggest they are similar people with similar impact, but to note how their statements are regarded as tone deaf in a way that they just haven’t been before. Hard to imagine a politician walking back a statement like the one Yang made a few years ago.

Eh. It was specifically that he and Damon Wayans hated each other, and Wayans was the bigger name.

I hope they have done the napkin math. BEVs that recharge back at the depot make a heck of a lot of sense. That basically leaves long-haul trucking, which in the U.S. anyway, the required rest times are largely the bottleneck, not the recharge times.

Hey, it can be two things: Stodden can be a victim of abuse and a terrible person who probably shouldn’t be on TV. Kinda like O’Neal can be a “former AV Club writer,” and one of, like, three or four people who all but made this site.

I do this in a sort of ersatz way. I menu plan for about a week at a time and sometimes I’ll be in their and say “hey, I’ve got some annatto paste. Wonder how old that is?” Then I open up my document and put “something with annatto paste” as a placeholder in the menu to try to use it up.
