I guess she’s as insufferable as her music is overrated.

After the “wardrobe malfunction,” Janet Jackson released four more albums. Two of them went to #1 and the other two went to #2. And, this was all after she had turned 38, an age when the careers of almost any pop star, female or male, has run its course.

I thought they were both in on it?

Unpopular opinion:  I always felt that Janet was in on this, and claimed otherwise when the tide turned against her. The tearaway of the costume was too easy, the pastie just happened to be there, etc. That being said, Justin should have had his feet held to the fire as much as she did, if not more. Right? Doesn’t seem like this “body positive icon” is all that positive about female bodies.

“So, you’re saying you don’t go down?” the interviewer clarified.

Sure he’s cool with himself having the beer gut and letting it all hang out, lots of guys are.

I miss living in a world where it was still socially acceptable for the manager to say “then get your vaccination too, Karen, and we’ll happily give you one” in a condescending tone.
