I posted this elsewhere (and invite anyone knowledgeable to add to it or correct me anywhere):

Kushner has the look of someone who blankly stares at the wall whenever no one else is in the room.

I’ve always wondered if there’s a deleted scene from “Heat” where we’re told/shown that Pacino’s character is doing tons of coke....to keep himself sharp (snaps fingers)....where he needs to be....and so on. He’s all peaks and valleys in that movie - some nice, fairly quiet scenes (i.e. with Diane Venora at the

I think that’s pretty bold of you to creep on her in front of her husband like that.

Godfather III: the graph becomes 3D and the movie is dropped into the abyss (0'0'∞’).

Al Pacino’s character in heat is supposed to be a coke head. The had a scene with him snorting but took it out. Not sure if it would convince people the movie is good but it would probably elevate him out of bad bad pacino to maybe good bad pacino (or bad good if you think the film sucks)

I was going to suggest that Scarface be the right in the middle of the chart.

I actually like Insomnia, but that is definitely a candidate for Bad Good Pacino.

Yeah, but, our perverts aren’t nearly as perverty. It’s gotta be more like a US citizen/generic middle eastern thug exchange. We get our two students stupidly vacationing in the Gaza Strip back, and you get your 14 terrorists we’ve been torturing at Guantanamo.

Well said. I just don’t understand how so many people don’t get this.

I started reading Jezebel because of Dodai and Lindy. To see them move on to bigger and better things just feels my heart with so much joy. Dodai is truly amazing and will be missed.

Except that’s a really stupid comparison. Puerto Rico is not another country. They are US citizens on US land, so the fair comparison would be Florida. Why is their standard of living so much lower than it is in the rest of country?

What’s with all the Jack Nicholson impersonators in the picture?

That’s about 50K per person, so if that can’t fix it, nothing can. Granted, the world collectively put 13 billion into Haiti post Earthquake and the government (ours, theirs) and NGOs managed to waste almost all of it without measurable changes.

Puerto Rico is in the mess its in due to decades of bad decision making by The US Government.

I can’t wait to hear the people about to add 1.7 trillion to the deficit to give the ultra rich a tax cut talk about how we can’t afford this.

I picture Trump tweeting something like, “REAL PATRIOT G. Gordon Liddy held a lighter to his arm to PROVE Loyalty!!! Not like SAD LOSER Flynn!!!”

I believe that the part about privatization is there to prevent large scale disaster capitalism, and the selling off of Puerto Ricos infrastructure. What you don’t want is suddenly all the roads, water, etc. that used to be public good are suddenly run for profit.

Puerto Rico has the following legislation:
